5 Things To Expect From Taylor Swift’s ‘Delicate’ Music Video
There’s no doubt that Taylor Swift is at the top of the best songwriters and singers around the world (Yeah, I’m a hardcore Swiftie, but you can’t deny that fact).
Among all the awards, nominations, and records she has achieved during her career, she pours out her life and soul, unconditionally, into her songs and delivers real and engaging results: As Seen In Her Music Videos…
For this opportunity, she will release the video for reputation’s fourth single, Delicate, this Sunday at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2018.
As of today, she only posted a video throughout social media unfolding a piece of paper that has written on it the date and location for the worldwide premiere.
Despite the lack of information, I expect to see this 5 things in the Delicate music video.
Certainly, Delicate is the most vulnerable song in reputation. The first 10 seconds speak for itself.
“This ain’t for the best. My reputation’s never been worst so. You must like me for me.”
“Sometimes I wonder when you sleep, are you ever dreaming of me.“
Although Taylor’s all-time favorite director, Joseph Kahn, has laughed about robots on many tweets, regarding of Delicate video hints, I do think it will have something futuristic.
Only five robots I mean days away for the #DelicateMusicVideo premiere.

Keep up that robot shit. We got lots more promo to do to let everyone know #DelicateMusicVideo premieres Sunday.

You can tell that with the sound of the whole song, especially at the beginning of it when she sounds like she was singing behind a fan.
NYC/LA Dreamy Scenery
This one is very simple.
In the first and second verse, respectively, Swift sings:
“Dive bar on the east side, where you at.”
“Third floor on the west side, me and you.”
I consider that maybe Taylor pulled off a Wildest Dreams + Out Of The Woods vibe. This week, Mr. Kahn assured that fact:
Joseph make something original. Make Wildest Dreams 2.0. Exactly like that. Thank you.

Also, she mentions,
“Handsome, your mansion with a view,”
Which makes me think that she could be filming in a mansion like the one in Blank Space music video.
Perhaps, she could’ve filmed in her Rhode Island mansion.
Is no secret that reputation is filled with the word ‘drink’.
This tune mentions it twice:
“But you can make me a drink.”
“Dive bar on the East Side, where you at?”
I’m so into Taylor sharing her daily basis, for example, that she enjoys drinking.
It’s pretty obvious that she’s referring to Joe Alwyn, her boyfriend, throughout the song, and the step by step of how they got together.
The lyrics narrate about a ‘Sparks Fly‘ guy she was dating, and with the recent appearance of the couple in Malibu, the video must have someone that represents him and their relationship.
Also, you might want to take a look at the photo after reading this verse:
Dark jeans and your Nikes look at you.
Oh damn, never seen that color blue.
Just think all the fun things we could do…
‘Cause I like you.
Is that some kind of undercover promo for Delicate?
I mean, just LOOK at it! Dark jeans and Nikes!
However, I’m not asking to see an appearance of Joe in the video —because this wouldn’t be a thing Taylor would do,— but maybe she adds a persona that symbolizes him.
Let’s wait for the world premiere of Delicate this Sunday to see if I got at least one right.
What are your thoughts?
