Halloween Series — Cruel Devil
Boo, Inchers! 👻
First, I want to thank you for sharing lovely birthday messages with me, and for making feel special. I spent a great birthday last Thursday, 10/26. I’m feeling Forever 21, haha. ✨
Second, it’s time to get serious with the topic of this post.
The spookiest time of the year is here! 🎃🦇🕸
Aren’t you excited? Because I’m thrilled.
Thereby, this period means a lot to me, and usually, I’m very busy during these days because I have to focus on those topics, plus my birthday, studies and work.
Anyway… Last year I wanted to portray a skull for Halloween. And not just any skull, but a teen-inspired one (It was my last year as a teen. I was going to turn 20). So I wanted to capture my teen essence in a Halloweenie way. 💀👦🏻
(I miss Teen Skull so so much) *heartbroken*
Furthermore, I remember that in the very beginning of 2017 I had in mind already what I wanted to be for this Halloween: a male version of Cruella Devil, the villain in Disney’s animated movie 101 Dalmatians.
However, I knew that I didn’t want just to channel her, but a younger version of herself. So I decided to become Cruella’s evil and shopaholic son, Cruel Devil. 🖤💵
MyOUTFIT — Stradivarius black fur coat + Forever 21 black and white stripes sweater + Jockey black t-shirt + American Eagle Outfitters Active Flex white ripped jeans + Maroon Reebok Classics + G-Shock.
MyADVICE — As I told you last Halloween, don’t spend money on expensive costumes or new clothes. Try your best on DIYing one! 🎨
Every single piece of my outfit is from my wardrobe, and I didn’t have to spend a cent (Except for the fur coat, which is Maleny’s).
Although I could achieve what I wanted, I had some tough days trying to figure out which was the better top and bottom for the outfit, and also the location for the photoshoot.
Start by turning on your creativity!
