My beloved, Inchers of Style!
Can you feel it? Love is in the air. 🌬❤️
Ok, I’ll be honest with you. 😛
I’m 20 years old, and I’ve never celebrated St. Valentine’s Day. I think that it’s just another day of the year.
If you wait until Valentine’s Day to behave nicely and romantic with your significant other then you’re not doing it right. The year has 365 days to express our feelings, specifically the positive ones, to the people we love.
Also, I find unnecessary to dress flawlessly for somebody on V’s when you can do it the entire year.
I mean, I eat chocolates all year long. I don’t wait for Valentine’s to eat them… Hahaha 😂🍫.
P.S.: I have nothing against the ones that celebrate Valentine’s like Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Nevertheless, this year I decided to accept the monthly challenge from my community, Fashion Bloggers Venezuela (@fashionbloggersvzla): #RetoStValentine. Despite my position, I made this decision because it’s my first V-Day with them so, why not? 😌
They encouraged us, fashion bloggers, to show off our romantic, tender side. Pink, red and white were the colors that they suggested. Unfortunately, I love those colors so that just gave me more reasons to participate in this month challenge.
#MyOUTFIT — I’m wearing a white Jockey t-shirt, under a burgundy bomber jacket from Simply Styled by Sears, with my light ripped jeans from American Eagle Outfitters, and my Air Max 90 from Nike.
#MyADVICE — You can dress beautifully and show off your tender side whenever you want, wherever you are. I prefer to keep it simple and leave my suit for weddings or big celebrations like prom, family reunions, etc.
However, if you really want to impress someone on V-Day, but you don’t want to dress fancy, grab a light-colored long sleeve shirt/sweater, ripped white pants or dark jeans, with velvet shoes and a nice watch.
You’re ready to go!
